Boundaries
White Rock District boundaries include all units chartered within Dallas ISD (map) generally east of White Rock Lake. This includes the attendance zone of these elementary schools:
Purpose and Mission
The district:
- Organizes camping and other events.
- Offers training for Scouts and adult leaders.
- Advises units on health and safety issues.
- Organizes rank advancement activities.
- Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing Roundtables.
- Promotes the creation of new Packs, Troops, Teams, and Crews.
- Supports membership retention.
- Coordinates district-wide events like fundraising and service projects such as Scouting for Food.
- Facilitates communication procedures with Circle Ten Council.
